There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.

"A sequence of catchy songs that dress Cilmi's huskily mature voice in a clever collage of Sixties, Seventies and Eighties sounds." DAILY TELEGRAPH
"A sassy debut that soars impressively." DAILY MAIL
"Gabriella Cilmi sings with self-possesion and character, switching easily from a youthful croon to bluesy growl." FT
"Sounding like a young Janis Joplin with a wise-beyond-her-years maturity and sharp lyrics to match..this is wonderfully sophisticated pop music." AXM
"On an album positively reeling with preternatural confidence and youthful enthusiasm, she can certainly inhabit a song at full throaty throttle, and everything here pushes pop's smartest buttons." Q MAGAZINEpage << 1 2 >>
