Sharleen Spiteri: ilikemusic because... it takes me to places that life can't
Shabee Naqvi: ilikemusic because... it takes me away from the pains in life. It's the shoulder I cry on. It's the hug I crave for. It's the smile that lightens up my day...and it pulls me by the ear to a melodious heaven on earth.

Ellen, Los Campesinos: ilikemusic because... It’s the best form of escapism that you can have wherever you are. You could be completely miserable or waiting for a bus and put on any song that inspires you and you can escape into a little world, well that’s what I tend to do anyway.GOLDFRAPP: UK TOUR OCTOBER 2005
Goldfrapp bring back their visually astounding live show when they tour the UK this Autumn. The tour follows the release of the band's third album, 'Supernature', on August 22nd and its first single, 'Ooh La La' on August 8th.
Described by Alison Goldfrapp as "sulky, sexual and a bit ambiguous", the single 'Ooh La La' is a thrilling slab of glam-noir. Vibrant and visceral, the track is pure excitement and tension, delivered with the downright dirty insouciance that we have come to expect of Britain's most captivating act.
Co-written and co-produced by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, 'Ooh La La' comes accompanied by an appropriately electrifying glam fantasy video courtesy of uber-director Dawn Shadforth that Alison describes as 'harking back to Eno era Roxy Music and old Top of the Pops'.
