Grum - 2D Barcode Imagery

As well as being striking from an aesthetic point of view, the 2D Barcode, by representing information in both the horizontal and vertical dimensions, has greater data capacity than the traditional barcode, opening up a very special creative opportunity.

Starting with Runaway, his debut single, Grum's artwork, when photographed by your mobile phone (using the appropriate reader application) uses the 2D Barcode to take you directly to high quality streamed versions of his music, with the option to buy there and then. Developed by David Ross the artistic and creative brains behind Mylo's Destroy Rock N Roll' poster and artwork campaigns, the pioneering designs have opened up a fully interactive experience for fans to get the music they want, when they want it.

1. Download one of these readers Kaywa / Neoreader / Bee Tag to your phone:

2. Photograph the bar code with your phone's camera:

3. Listen to and buy the music!

See the poster on the street or an advert in a mag, snap the logo, and get direct to the music. There's already massive interest with mobile phone providers and software programmers to develop this idea, but Grum got there first. The revolution starts here!page << 1 2 >>
