However, do not let the press sway your opinion too rapidly. As one of the longest standing British festivals Glastonbury is unlikely to disappoint. Yes, there is a chance it could rain. But, with one of the biggest, most famous festival sites in the country there is far more to concentrate on than just the artists that you don't like.

Watch the sun rise from the stone circle, laugh yourself silly in the comedy tent, chill out with a sarnie for a few hours in the circus tent, rave all night in the Glade, jam to a 15 piece funk group on the Jazz World Stage, catch a new band on the Q stage, get your face painted and swap clothes with a stranger and finally round it all off nicely with a pint of pear cider - and make sure you get a shot of brandy in that too. If you haven't got any plans for the summer then there is still time to Glasto it up. If you have…then why not throw in another festival? Just for good measure.
