As the Ibiza season fast approaches, Hed Kandi has been busy putting the finishing touches to its brand new and unseen event schedule at Eden. For Hed Kandi, 2009 is all about the new age of disco, and following the success of the label's recent album release Nu Disco, there was only one choice for the 2009 Ibiza theme - Disco Balearica.
The airwaves are rife with the renaissance of disco, which has been brought into the 21st century neon laced and synth enhanced, and the peeps at Hed Kandi are embracing it in all its glory this summer. For the first time ever Hed Kandi in Ibiza will be more than one room, as new venue Eden opens two more doors of Hed Kandi lavishness and musical delight. Whilst the main room will feature the aforementioned Disco Balearica played by the Hed Kandi residents, including Phil Faversham, Wez Clarke, Andy Norman, the back room will be dedicated to a new era for the brand. Another 'first time ever' will see Hed Kandi invite special guests in to the party who will play the Nu Disco theme in the venue's back room, and will include outstanding advocates of this sound Crazy P, Aeroplane, Ashley Beedle, Sidechains, Greg Wilson and many more…
