Following critically-acclaimed debut album, 'Crazy Glue', Hoboken return to their acidic world of electro-noir with a new EP entitled 'Beauty Queen'. This lead track is a sizzling trip into a seedy world of glamour and decadence, with Jonathan Carr's baritone vocals journeying over inspired electronics to create a truly inimitable sound.
Often likened to Depeche Mode, Sparks and Devo, Hoboken are embarking on a mini-tour to promote the EP, calling at The Purple Turtle in Camden on 16th September. On seeing the band's last show in London, Playlouder said: "Hoboken are far too astonishing for a crowd this size, and quite an honour to behold."
