It helps me out in so many ways.Il Divo, the operatic quartet, have topped the UK Album Chart this week with their fourth album The Promise.
The group were created by X Fator judge Simon Cowell. The Promise marks the third time they have topped the UK Album Charts. Their last album release in 2006, Siempre, charted at number two. However previous albums, 2004's Il Divo and 2005's Ancora, both reached the top spot.
The operatic quartet beat the Stereophonics to chart at number one this week. The welsh rockers released their Best Of Compilation, Decade In The Sun, which came in at number two.
Last weeks number one album, Out Of Control by Girls Aloud, fell to number three, followed by Kings Of Leon's Only By The Night, which rose to number four. The top five albums were completed this week by Pink's Funhouse at number five.
New entries came from Irish singer Enya and her album And Winter Came, charting at number six, and Christina Aguilera with her best of compilation, Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade Of Hits, coming in at number ten.
The X-Factor finalists remain at number one in the UK Singles Chart this week with their cover of Mariah Carey's hit single Hero. US rapper T.I leapt from last weeks 39 to number two in the singles chart this week with his collaboration with Rihanna, Live Your Life, which is currently at number one in the download chart.
The only new entry in this weeks UK Singles Chart Top 10 came from The Killers and their single Human, which charted at number four.
