Infadels Announce Halloween Dates with Scissor Sisters and Richie Dislocates Knee
Infadels are very excited to announce that they have been invited to play with the Scissor Sisters at their Halloween Specials in Manchester and London on 30th and 31st October respectively.
Infadels, who release their latest single 'Girl That Speaks No Words' on PIAS/Wall of Sound today (Monday, 9th October) have a passion for putting on amazing live shows and have always admired the Scissor Sisters' energy onstage.
"We are completely stoked to be playing with the Scissor Sisters! They're top entertainers and their show is on another level. Hopefully we'll get to rock a whole new load of faces and learn a few tricks watching their set. I'll be down the front dressed as myself. I think that's Halloween enough!" (Richie Vermin - Infadels)
The gigs add to an already mammoth touring schedule, which has seen them play 45 summer festivals this year alone, Infadels have also just embarked on a tour of the UK to accompany the release of their new single and the re-release of the debut album and bonus live DVD 'We Are Not The Infadels'.
We Are Not The Infadels Bonus DVD Edition is released on 16th October on PIAS/Wall of Sound Records.
Richie, the energetic synths player from Infadels recently dislocated his knee during a particularly energetic show at Paradiso in Amsterdam, despite attempting to shove it back in its place himself, Richie was forced to go back to the UK when the pain got too much to bare. Richie is hoping that he will be well enough to make it to the UK dates which start this week, but just in case he doesn't the band held Richie Idol last weekend.
Entrants were given a backing track, a bin lid and a drumstick and told to emulate Richie's performance. Their performance will be filmed by the band and he best Richie-alike will perform with the band onstage this week.
