simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
Joker21SRB: ilikemusic because... It helps me relax and feel good. I can't imagine a day with no music
dasps: ilikemusic because... it's make me cool and numb n i love to hear music.
Master Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.
James Blunt: ilikemusic because... conversation is so limited. It’s the best form of expression we have.

Newton Faulkner: ilikemusic because... I’m absolutely rubbish at everything else.
Jont says:
"Unlit is a beautiful way to break the rules. It's a mixture of a party and a gig that is open and free to anyone, held in the houses of fans and like-minded souls.
"The bill is made up of artists, either established or new, who play two or three songs, and their vulnerablilty and intimacy with the audience allows people to stop thinking and look at music in a different way".
Plugging into the network of fans he attracted with his appearance on the soundtrack to The Wedding Crashers, in 2006 Jont took Unlit across America through the houses of MySpacers he'd never met and captured the magical aura of these nights in an online TV series called, "The State We're In" which he posted on Youtube as he went.
On his return, the BBC asked him to curate a special Unlit for The BBC's Electric Proms and this year he has just completed the first ever Unlit tour of UK MySpace users' houses, the new online TV series of which - aptly named "The House We're In" - will be launched on Youtube on March 31st.
