Justin Timberlake Tops UK Album Chart

Justin Timberlake has secured the number one album top spot with his new Futuresex/Lovesounds album. The singer is also number two in the singles chart with his Sexyback single, which fell from number one two weeks ago.

JT was one of three new entries taking the top three positions and narrowly pipped the Fratellis to number one, who went straight in at number two with their Costello Music album, while Lemar charted at number three with The Truth About Love.

Snow Patrol, who held the number one spot in the album chart last week, fell to number four with their Eyes Open album.

Meanwhile, The Scissor Sisters retained their number one single with I Don't Feel Like Dancin' after giving a stirling performance at the weekend's MOTO Red Square charity gig at Trafalgar Square, which was introduced by Kylie. Highest new singles chart entry went to The Killers who went straight in at number five with their new When You Were Young single.

Black Eyed Peas Fergie's debut solo single, London Bridge climbed to number three, and Jamelia climbed up to number ten with her new single, Something About You, her first since having her second daughter two years ago.
