Leeds lads Kaiser Chiefs will headline the opening night of the Isle of Wight Festival 2008, which will take place over 3 days on 13th, 14th & 15th June.
This completes the trio of top headliners for 2008's Festival - Kaiser Chiefs, Sex Pistols and The Police.
Kaiser Chiefs have undoubtedly established themselves as one of Britain's most successful bands of the past few years, having scooped 3 x Brit Awards for Best Rock Act, Best Live Act and Best Group plus an NME Award for Best Album.
Their Mercury Prize nominated, 5 x platinum debut album 'Employment' was one of the most hyped debut albums of all time and second album 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' plus lead single 'Ruby' both went straight to the top spot earlier this year.
Lily Allen, The Enemy, James, Kate Nash, Iggy and The Stooges, The Zutons and KT Tunstall have also been added to the line-up. Along with Ian Brown, N.E.R.D, The Kooks, The Hoosiers and Scouting for Girls.
