In September 'Nine Million Bicycles', the first single from the new album, gave Katie her highest UK single chart entry at number 5. One week later and 'Piece By Piece' entered the UK album charts at number 1 and has already reached platinum status. The success story continues overseas with the album currently number 2 in the overall Billboard European chart, topping the charts in Holland and Norway, top 5 in Ireland, Denmark, Germany and Iceland and rapidly climbing the charts around the world.
Katie performed 'I Cried For You' on Top of The Pops on 23rd October and future TV appearances include Children In Need, Movie Music Mania, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Strictly Come Dancing. A 16 date tour of Britain and Ireland starts in Aberdeen on January 20th and ends in Katie's former home town of Belfast on February 13th.
