Kelly Rowland At Love Music Hate Racism

Saturday May 30th at Stoke City FC Britannia Stadium

Love Music Hate Racism festival is proud to announce that Kelly Rowland is booked to appear as one of the headline acts at their summer 2009 festival at Stoke City's Britannia Stadium.

The former Destiny's Child singer will perform a full set at the annual festival on Saturday May 30th 2009.

Over 30,000 people are expected on the day and tickets are priced at just £10 to ensure no-one is priced out. Other acts on the bill include the Reverend and the Makers, The Beautiful South, Ironik, Chipmunk, Mutya Buena, Jerry Dammers, The Beat, VV Brown, Bashy, Crazy Cousinz featuring Kyla, Roll Deep, Helsinki (Babyshambles Drew McConnell's Indie Super Group), MistaJam and The Sport. A number of headline acts are still to be announced with big name artists in the frame for Stoke-on- Trent's biggest ever music event.

The festival is being organised by Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR), in conjunction with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke City Football Club and is supported by football's anti-racism charity, Kick it Out. The LMHR event is being held just before the European elections in order to thwart far right political groups drumming up race hate in the current recession to gain advantage at the polls on the 4th June.
