A New Zealand act, now based in London, BEN HURLEY (Leeds 24/8) who won two of his country's biggest comedy awards in 2004: The New Zealand Comedy Guild best male comedian and the Oddfellows Billy T award. He was also named best MC at the Wellington comedy awards in 2006.
Energetic and surreal, JARRED CHRISTMAS (Leeds 24/8, Reading 22/8) is a unique comic talent with a character all of his own. His delivery is both high-energy and brimming with a self-belief that makes his bizarre thoughts and observations completely acceptable to the listener. Jarred's material is drawn from an imagination let loose, and his wild style mixes gags with storytelling, pulling the audience into his surreal world.
