MICK FERRY (Leeds 24/8) has become well known as a fine purveyor of lugubrious surrealism and has appeared as a stand-up comedian all over the country. He is also in demand as one of the finest comperes around, a task he has performed at The Frog and Bucket, The Buzz, Murphy's Malarkey and many others.

Familiar to music fans as part of the BBC coverage of the summer festivals and our very own Reading and Leeds, RUFUS HOUND (MC at Reading 22/8) will be jumping the fence from presenter to entertainer as MC for the day at the Reading site.

BARRY CASTAGNOLA (Reading 22/8) has been performing stand-up in the UK and internationally since the late Nineties - when he blagged his way onto the stage at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. He is also one third of the spoof ecowarrior troupe Cyderdelic who made a six-part BBC Three series and made regular appearances on Channel 4's 11 O'Clock Show.
