Latest Reading and Leeds Festival News

IAN MOORE (Reading 22/8) and his laconic observations on life, from the problems of using the wrong vocabulary in a German Pizza Hut to an almost pathological hatred of open-toed footwear, have proved hugely successful with live audiences.

Awesomely funny, irreverent, brilliant, and smooth like fine jazz. catching PETE JOHANSSON (Leeds 24/8, Reading 23/8) perform is a trip, you can't guess where he is going, but you die with laughter when he gets there.

Born and bred in Sunderland, MATT REED (MC at Leeds 24/8) started comedy in 2001 as half of the double act Mat and Faron with Faron Smith. As a solo act, he made the finals of the Daily Telegraph Open mic award in 2002 and of the Leicester Comedian of the Year contest the following year and has continued to thrive ever since.

SEAN WALSH (Reading 24/8) has been performing stand up since November 2006 and he is currently a Laughing Horse semi-finalist. His originality and high energy has been captivating audiences in venues throughout London and Brighton. He is developing a set full of sharp observations, explosive physical energy and a first-hand knowledge of drunkenness.
