A lyrical big hitter, CHRIS HICKS has extensively toured the UK as one quarter of poetry supergroup aisle16, and was the founding delegate of the motivational seminar Powerpoint, the poetry/theatre/comedy monster which sold out the Old Red Lion for three weeks early this year.

ROSS SUTHERLAND began performing poetry aged seventeen, as support for punk-poet and fellow festival performer John Cooper Clarke. In 2000 he became one of the founding members of the live poetry collective, Aisle16 alongside fellow performer Chris Hicks, with whom he continues to tour the UK.

Saturday 23rd August at Leeds Festival, Sunday 24th August at Reading Festival

BEANS ON TOAST is a one man (and one guitar) social commentary machine. Taking modern life as his starting point, his dark wit touches on gum crime, cocaine, MySpace, Tesco, global warming and the Lake District amongst other things.
