I Like Music Because heading
  • JunJun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!

  • simon f bakersimon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
  • ZainabZainab: ilikemusic because... it can alter moods n talk to you. word to your mother eminem, parle tu mamon. french it up yall. just kidding

Exlovers
Exlovers play discordant indie-pop, laden with close boy-girl harmonies, lo-fi guitars and sweetly sombre lyrical musings. Their new five track EP 'You Forget So Easily" was released in September on limited edition 10" vinyl through Chess Club Records (White Lies, Mumford & Sons). The EP was recorded with Stephen Street who approached the band after seeing them support Peter Doherty at the Shepherds Bush Empire. Recent singles 'Photo-booth' and 'Just a Silhouette' received extensive airplay from Steve Lamacq, BBC 6 Music and Zane Lowe. Their relentless touring schedule has seen them support the likes of Emmy The Great, Golden Silvers, and The Cheek.
