According to The Sun newspaper, Lily may well stay away from the Brits, despite being the artist with the most nominations.
Lily been nominated for British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, MasterCard British Album and British Single.
According to The Sun's 'source', "Lily has a lot of commitments abroad so would have to make a special effort to fly in just for the day to go to the event. The Best Album category is so tough this year and she's got little chance of beating the Artic Monkeys.Best single is likely to go to Leona Lewis or Take That, and The Kooks are favourites to pick up the Newcomer award."
However, Lily makes no mention of the potential snub on her MySpace page, adding only, "I know everyone's doing online campaigns to try and win the Brit AWard but I think thats a bit whack (and not what this space is for). So i'll just say I'm really pleased to be nominated. That is All."
The Brit Award winners will be announced at London's Earls Court on February 14th 2007, with the show being broadcast live on television for the first time in nearly 20 years.
