I Like Music Because heading
  • JunJun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!

Madonna Sticky And Sweet World Tour Dates

Madonna has announced details of her 27 date World Tour, kicking off at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on August 23rd 2008 and ending in Miami on November 26th 2008.

Major cities across Europe will be visited by Madonna's tour, from London (September 11) and Paris (September 20) to New York (October 6th and 7th) and Los Angeles (November 6th).

Tickets went on sale from 9am BST on May 16th, with prices starting at £55.

1.3million people attended Madonna's Confessions Tour in 2006 which made her the highest grossing concert tour by a female artist at the time.

Madonna's latest album, Hard Candy, has gone straight in at number one in 27 countries so far including the UK, France, Germany, Japan, USA and Australia.

The US leg of the "STICKY & SWEET TOUR" begins October 3 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with stops at New York's Madison Square Garden on October 6 and 7, followed by performances in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and more, before stopping at Miami's Dolphin Stadium on November 26. Madonna's "STICKY & SWEET TOUR" will also visit Mexico and South America later this year.
