Martha Wainwright October Tour Dates
After impressing the critics with an assured second album and a series of acclaimed live performances earlier this year, Martha Wainwright returns to the UK October 08 for a major UK tour. Backed up by her excellent live band, Martha plays a total of fourteen dates, supported by Australian newcomers Angus & Julia Stone.
Martha's summer got off to a flying start with a quartet of acclaimed concert dates in London, Glasgow Birmingham and Manchester, where she thrilled audiences with songs from her new album. Backed up by her excellent live band, she went on to captivate crowds at a host of UK festivals, including memorable performances at Glastonbury, Latitude and The Big Chill.
I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too is Martha Wainwright's critically acclaimed second album. Produced by Brad Albetta, Martin Terefe, and Tore Johansson, it's a hugely accomplished work that features Martha's best melodies to date.
Packed with incredible vocal performances and razor-sharp wordplay, the album builds on the strong musical foundations of her self-titled debut with 12 excellent new tracks, including a touching cover of Pink Floyd's See Emily Play and recent singles Bleeding All Over You and You Cheated Me.

I Know Youre Married But Ive Got Feelings Too
Martha Wainwright

Estelle: ilikemusic because... It enables me to get my feelings out and it’s borderline therapy for me. Music makes me feel.
Robyn: ilikemusic because... It’s the way I want to express myself. It’s not a choice. It’s just always been there. It’s just what I do.
Alfonso, The Hoosiers: ilikemusic because... Because, because, because, because, because of the wonderful things he does… I’m off to see the wizard…[singing] the wonderful wizard of oz…
Leon Jean-Marie: ilikemusic because... It transcends. It really creates emotion with someone. That feeling it gives you, it goes through boundaries. To create something, it just breaks through all the walls. When you connect with a song, that is it, that is magic isn't it?
Jo Whiley: ilikemusic because... It makes me laugh and it makes my cry and it gets me out of a stress if I’m in a stress, and, if I’m in a good place then it will make me in a better place. It’s all about the emotion, it’s all about the feeling where music takes you to and what affect it has on you.
Newton Faulkner: ilikemusic because... I’m absolutely rubbish at everything else.
James, Maroon 5: ilikemusic because... It is a gateway into the present moment.
Taio Cruz: ilikemusic because... It’s my life and it’s the air that I breathe. It calms me when I’m feeling uptight and it’s there for me when I want to party if I want to listen to something up tempo, it’s just amazing in any situation. That’s why I like music!
Keane: ilikemusic because... It’s the way we express ourselves
