  • lolololo: ilikemusic because... music is where some people display affection, show emotions and actually showing off who they are and their thinking. it is special unlike anything cos it goes out and never comes in back but in others.
  • simon f bakersimon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
  • Leon Jean-MarieLeon Jean-Marie: ilikemusic because... It transcends. It really creates emotion with someone. That feeling it gives you, it goes through boundaries. To create something, it just breaks through all the walls. When you connect with a song, that is it, that is magic isn't it?
  • dawn Leonettidawn Leonetti: ilikemusic because... it makes me spin, giggle and bubble up - kinda my own Rice Crispies cereal ("snap, crackle, pop") in the audio form...

Mika, Maroon 5 and McFly Join T4 On The Beach

The hottest music TV event this summer just got bigger with the announcement of more acts playing at T4 On The Beach. T4 is proud to announce that chart toppers Calvin Harris, Mika, Maroon 5 and McFly will all join the star line up on the beach at Weston- super-Mare on Sunday July 22nd.

The new additions to the fifth T4 on the Beach, sponsored by Aygo by Toyota join Akon, Natasha Bedingfield and Just Jack on the bill that will see over 30 acts rocking the beach for the 30,000 revellers. Each act will treat the crowd to 2-3 performances of their best-known and loved hits whilst on stage.

In addition to movers and shakers of the music scene heading down to the West Coast, the T4 presenters will be on hand to host summer 2007's biggest party. June Sarpong, Steve Jones and Miquita Oliver will guide the crowd and viewers at home through the day of live music in the sunshine.

This year the T4 on the Beach experience will be bigger and louder than ever, because 4 Music are joining the beach party with their very own stage. The 4Music stage will also host loads of exclusive short sets from up and coming bands that they reckon are going to be huge this time next year. The winner of the online 4 Music unsigned competition will also be kicking the whole afternoon off.
