Mika Scores UK Chart Double

Mika has done the double this week, topping the UK album chart and singles chart simultaneously. Beirut-born Mika's Grace Kelly single stayed at number one for a fourth week, while his debut album Life In Cartoon Motion entered the chart at number one, knocking Norah Jones's Not Too Late album off the top spot.

The second and third positions in the album chart were also new entries, as Bloc Party entered the chart at number two with their A Weekend In The City album, while Fall Out Boy took third position with their Infinity On High album. Norah Jones slipped to number four, while Amy Winehouse kept her position at number five with Back To Black. Lesley Garrett entered the chart at 11 with her album of ballads, When I Fall In Love.

Meanwhile, in the singles chart, Kaiser Chiefs were the highest new entry, with their new single, Ruby, in at number two. Just Jack kept his position at number three with Starz In Their Eyes and Fall Out Boy slipped two places to number four, with their This Ain't A Scene single. Mason held fast at number five with Exceeder.
