Akon Ft Snoop Dogg were another new entry with I Wanna Love You in at number nine. Akon also features in the single one place below, as Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape single, featuring and produced by Akon, climbed to number 10.

Other new entries in the UK singles chart included Kelis Ft Cee Lo who entered the chart at number 13 with Lil Star. Justin Timberlake with his What Goes Around Comes Around single at 29, and 2pac Ft Ashanti & Ti with Pac's Life in at 21, just behind Jessica Simpson who's Public Affair single entered the chart at number 20. The Long Blondes entered the chart at 37with their new single, Giddy Stratospheres, taking the place of Nelly Furtado who saw her new single, Say It Right, climb the most places, from 37 to number 19, while her previus single, All Good Things, remains in the top 40 at 38.

Take That's new single Shine single leapfrogged their previous hit Patience, climbing from number 30 to 17.

A new charity webiste, It Should Have Been Number One, is attempting to make Oasis' Roll With It number one after it was originally pipped to the post by Blur's Country House during the 1995 Britpop 'war'. page << 1 2 >>
