Mika Keeps Position At The Top Of UK Charts

Mika has retained the top spot at number one in the UK singles and albums charts for a fourth week running. This in a week that has seen records by Brit Awards performers Amy Winehouse, Snow Patrol and Take That climb in chart position.

The Beirut-born singer songwriter spent his fourth week at number one with single Grace Kelly, and Life in Cartoon Motion was the number one album for a second week in a row.

Winner of this year's Best British Female Solo Artist Brit Award, Amy Winehouse, saw her album Back To Black, climb to second place, while Snow Patrol rose to third with Eyes Open and Take That clambered from 16 to number five with their Beautiful World album. Their single, Patience was voted the British single of the year at the Brits and climbed back into the top 10. The boys new single Shine follows closely behind at number 11, giving Take That two singles in the top 20 and a number five album.

Amy Winehouse's debut album, Frank, also reenterd the top 40 at 37, giving her two albums in the album chart. While Rehab, the first release from current album Back to Black, climbed from 49 to 22 in the singles chart.
