The three piece band from North London that are currently at the top of the charts with their hit song Number One will perform a full set at the annual festival on Saturday May 30th.
Over 30,000 people are expected on the day and tickets are priced at just £10 to ensure no-one is priced out. Other acts on the bill include the Reverend and The Makers, Two Tone legend Jerry Dammers, Beautiful South, VV Brown, The Beat, Bashy, Crazy Cousinz featuring Kyla, Roll Deep, Helsinki (Babyshambles Drew McConnell's Indie Super Group), MistaJam and The Sport. A number of headline acts are still to be announced with big name artists in the frame for Stoke-on- Trent's biggest ever music event.
The festival is being organised by Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR), in conjunction with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke City Football Club and is supported by football's anti-racism charity, Kick it Out. The LMHR event is being held just before the European elections in order to thwart far right political groups drumming up race hate in the current recession to gain advantage at the polls on the 4th June.
