New Record Label: Angel Brothers
Angel Brothers, founded by UK Funky music producer Hard House Banton and veteran Garage MC PSG created in response to the growing UK underground scene, with the aim to inject MC PSG's knowledge and professionalism from 17 years in the business, including European tours, 3 national chart hits, drawing on his experience to guide and raise the profile of raw talent from the UK underground industry.
Hard House Banton "I met PSG in Ayia Napa 2009, he totally understood my views on the issues surrounding the UK Funky scene and we agreed to collaborate on some projects and the rest is history in the making!"
PSG "I've been in the business a long time and felt it was time to bring some professionalism from the old days, into the new emerging UK underground scenes. My knowledge, experience, creativity and contacts in the music business mixed with the Angel Brothers team will definitely make an impact in shaping the industry, working alongside majors to get them interested in the UK underground scene again. Our first project is underway and we are in a really good position to push it all the way to the top."
Hard House Banton "The biggest barrier we face is changing the current culture of the scene, musicians, producers & DJs need to realise the music game is a serious business and without these key stakeholders educating themselves and wanting to take the scene to the next level and make music a real career. The various genres of UK underground music will stay where they are now and see minimal chart success and will always be secondary to mainstream UK and US music."
Angel Brothers first Project Put Your Hands Up produced by Hard House Banton (producer of Sirens & Reign) featuring female vocalist Tiger S (So Solid Ride With Us), pioneer of the UK Garage scene MC PSG and the UKs number one Asian underground artist Shizzio. Scheduled for release April 2010.
The video shoot for Put Your Hands Up will take place on Friday 26th February 2010 at Amadeus Nightclub in Rochester.
