Nike Supersonic
This Autumn, Nike invites young active Londoners to push their pace through the sound barrier with Nike+ Supersonic. 1,000 runners. 3,000 guests. One night of music fuelled speed.
On the night of 17 November 2007 at a secret London venue, London's fastest 1,000 will sprint a floodlit 1K course, cheered on by 3,000 of their mates, ending with an invite-only gig headlined by some of the UK's biggest names in music.
Contenders compete for tickets at four weekly 100m speed trials across London throughout October, starting on the 12th in Finsbury Park. Dizzee Rascal will be making an appearance at Nike+ Supersonic in Finsbury Park.
Each trial will feature motivation from live DJs and the opportunity to trial Nike gear.
The fastest 1000 (500 guys, 500 girls) each receive a £200 race pack including an iPod nano, Nike+ Sport Kit and a pair of limited edition Nike Zoom Jasari. Plus of course three guest passes for their most dedicated supporters.
The entire event is being promoted via a dedicated MySpace community where young Londoners can pre-register for trial events, see videos and discover more about the event.
Only London's fastest run and only their mates make the guest list. Next trial Friday October 12th 2007.
