Two of the most innovative and influential bands of our time, The Strokes and Massive Attack, have been added to the ever-expanding line up of the O2 Wireless Festival 2006 and will headline on 21st June and 23rd June respectively.

New York rockers The Strokes will make their first ever appearance in London's stunning Hyde Park as they kick off the first of five days of fantastic live music at the O2 Wireless Festival 2006. Joining them on 21st June are The Super Furry Animals and Belle & Sebastian plus other special guests.

Massive Attack will headline the main stage on Friday 23rd June, with additional performances that day from The Flaming Lips, Pharrell and DJ Shadow.

For five full on consecutive days of sensational live music in London, the O2 Wireless Festival is the only place to be this summer. With headline performances from The Strokes, David Gray, Massive Attack, James Blunt and Depeche Mode plus acoustic performance space, chill out areas, side shows, markets, world food caterers and street theatre, the O2 Wireless Festival 2006 offers the very best of the festival experience, all within a stones throw of home.
