Oasis Will Headline Benicàssim 2009

Oasis Confirmed to Headline FIB Heineken Benicàssim Festival 2009 -The Event's 15th Anniversary.

Benicàssim are proud to announce that Oasis is the latest band to be confirmed to headline the 4 day event in Spain.

Oasis will be joined by Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand and Paul Weller on the Benicassim stage in what is shaping up to be the best festival in 2009, with more major acts to be announced shortly.

Fast becoming the greatest festival in Europe, Benicassim is an integral stop on the summer circuit and a firm favourite with European fans. Backed by Vince Power (the founder of the Mean Fiddler and the man behind The Hop Farm Festival) it will take place from July 16th - 19th on the east coast of Spain.

A phenomenal 50,000 people per day enjoyed FIB Heineken 2008 in the gorgeous summer sun, making it one of the most popular festivals of the summer with some of the most exciting, exclusive gigs to have graced the Spanish mainland in recent times. With sets from internationally acclaimed artists such as; Leonard Cohen, Morrissey, My Bloody Valentine, The Raconteurs, Babyshambles and The Ting Tings, it isn't hard to see why.
