Patrick Duff - Married With Kids
Bristol's most compelling songwriter Patrick Duff releases his first single from his album 'Luxury Problems' on 25th July.
Patrick explains,
"…(Married With Kids) came about after my dad helped me get my hands on an old Fender Bassman amplifier and we carried it back to the flat. We put my acoustic through it and cranmked it right up there in my kitchen and that's when I started playing the riff.
The rest came about through being on my road where there's all couples living opposite. You see them coming and going in their cars and all that. Proper luxury problems. The words are like a mixture between 'Rear Window' and 'When I'm Cleaning Windows'. Thinking about it now, I should have called it 'Married With Windows'. Who cares about the kids anyway?"
