Pet Shop Boys, who are currently writing new material in the studio, will play their first UK tour for five years in May. Buy Pet Shop Boys TICKETS here
The duo finished the major leg of a world tour at the end of last year, a year which also saw them in the studio with old friend Robbie Williams. "She's Madonna", his new single, was produced and co-written by Pet Shop Boys and they also play on the track, with Neil contributing backing vocals.
Pet Shop Boys have also remixed the new single by The Killers, "Read My Mind", out now.
Two weeks ago Neil Tennant appeared onstage with Scissor Sisters at London's Koko at a benefit concert for the charity Body & Soul, during which he and Jake Shears performed a medley of the Pet Shop Boys' classic single "Love Comes Quickly" and "It Can't Come Quickly Enough" by the Scissor Sisters .
In addition, the new Rufus Wainwright album has recently been finished on which Neil is executive producer with Wainwright himself assuming the producer's role. The album, "Release the Stars", will be released on May 15th.
