Kings Of Leon - Only By The NightPink Beats Oasis To Number One
Pink has beaten Oasis to the number one spot in the UK singles chart with her single So What.
The Shock of Lightning came in at number three, with Kings Of Leon, Sex On Fire, at number two.
So What, this week's chart topping single from Pink, charted at 38 last week and has made an impressive leap to the top spot. As a result, this marked Pink's first UK number one in six years.
Though Kings Of Leon fell a place in the singles charts, they remained top of the album charts with their album Only By The Night, which sold more than 220,000 copies in its first week, making it one of the fastest selling albums of 2008 so far.
Will Young charted at number two in the album charts this week with his fourth album Let It Go. At number three James Morrison charted a new entry with his second album Songs For You Truths For Me, followed by Andrew Johnston at number four, and his album One Voice. A strong entry for the teen singer who found fame on Britain's Got Talent.
In the singles chart the Sugababes rose four places from last week to chart at number four with their latest single Girls. Boyzone came in at number ten with their come back single Love You Anyway, taken from their new album Back Again...No Matter What and Katy Perry dropped down in the singles chart to number five with her hit I Kissed A Girl.
