It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!Radiohead's In Rainbows album will have a full release, thanks to a deal with independent label, XL Recordings.
The album, their seventh, was made available as a download on 10th October, enabling fans to choose the price they wanted to pay for it. It is also available in discbox format, costing £40 for CD, vinyl and artwork booklets and XL will handle the CD's release in stores early in 2008.
Las year XL recordings released Thom Yorke's solo debut album, The Eraser.
XL Recordings founder Richard Russell told Music Week, "Radiohead are a constant inspiration to us all, because they unfailingly put creativity first. XL is more than honoured to be working with Radiohead".
Managing director Ben Beardsworth added, "Radiohead have created a huge amount of excitement via the unique way in which they launched this campaign online. In Rainbows is truly a classic album and it deserves to reach a massive audience, well beyond that of download and boxset sales. We will be working closely with them to help deliver that."
It's thought that over a million fans have already downloaded the album with the average price of £1 paid.
The official physical release date has yet to be confirmed.
