I Like Music Because heading
  • Master GeeMaster Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss - Please Read The Letter

Raising Sand - Certified gold in the US, UK and throughout Europe, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss' LP continues to dominate best-of-2007 lists with the new single 'Please Read The Letter', January 28th.

The second track to be taken from the T Bone Burnett-produced album, it follows the Grammy nominated 'Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)' ('Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals' category). 'Please Read the Letter' was featured on Jimmy Page & Robert Plant's 1998 'Walking Into Clarksdale'. This new interpretation is a masterclass in faultless harmony.

Featuring Alison Krauss on fiddle and T Bone Burnett on acoustic guitar, it also boasts Jay Bellerose (drums), Dennis Crouch (bass) and Marc Ribot (Electric Guitar).

'Raising Sand' debuted on the US Billboard chart at Number 2, and Top 5 here in the UK. It has sold over 1 million copies internationally.
