Scouting For Girls Retain Position at Top of UK Charts

Scouting for Girls have retained their position at the top of the UK album chart for a second week running. The band's self-titled album includes Elvis Ain't Dead, which also retained its position at number eight in the singles chart, plus debut hit single, She's So Lovely. Scouting For Girls are set to tour the UK in March and April 2008.

Lupe Fiasco's album The Cool went straight in at number seven. The only other new entry in the album chart top 20 was Garth Brooks with his Ultimate Hits album.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss climbed from five to two with Raising Sand, while Amy Macdonald's This Is The Life slipped to number three. Newton Faulkner retained his number four position with Hand Built By Robots and The Hoosiers rose from eight to five with their The Trick To Life album, ahead of Take That's Beautiful World album at six.

Meanwhile, in the UK singles chart, Swedish DJ Basshunter is number one for a third week in a row with his dance single, Now You're Gone. Brit Award Critic's Choice winner, Adele kept her position at number two with Chasing Pavements while Nickelback and Britney Spears swapped places, with Nickelback taking third place with Rockstar and Britney slipping to number six with Piece Of Me.

Rihanna and Lupe Fiasco also swapped chart position with Lupe Fiasco's Superstar slipping a position to number five and Rihanna's Don't Stop the Music climbing to number four.
