Screaming Lights Tour Dates 2009

Liverpool's Screaming Lights have announced details of a short UK tour in November.

The band, who played at the V and Reading & Leeds festivals this summer, recently completed their first headline UK tour. The full list of forthcoming shows are as follows:

October 2009
25 Blackburn 41 King Street

November 2009
2nd Liverpool Alma de Cuba
3rd Bristol Louisiana
4th Reading Oakford Social
5th Birmingham Flapper
11th Edinburgh Electric Circus
12th Stoke Sugarmill

They recently released their debut album, Like Angels, on Anti in early October. The 11-track record was recorded with Dan Grech at the Hospital Studio in London's Covent Garden and Parr Street in Liverpool during the Spring of '09.

Gloriously out-of-step and isolated from many of their contemporaries, Screaming Lights are very much a product of their home-town. Steeped in that time-honoured Scouse tradition of forward-thinking, bloody-minded psychedelia, Like Angels shares a fair bit with the likes of fellow Mersey pop-adventurers such as The Teardrops or The Bunnymen.

Screaming Lights are: Alan Breen (bass), James Connor (drums), Max Goldberg (guitar) & James Treadell (vocals / guitar).
