Jacbob: ilikemusic because... It's very VERY goodShakira, who is currently touring the US, has retained her position at the top of the UK singles chart this week. This is her third week at number one with her Hips Don't Lie single, featuring Wyclef Jean. The incredibly talented James Morrison also kept his position at the top of the UK album chart, in a slow moving week that saw few new releases.
In fact, the only song to appear in the top ten that wasn't there last week was Snow Patrol with their Chasing Cars single, which moved from 13 to ten, while their album moved up a place to number two in the album chart. Orson climbed the chart with their Bright Idea album, which moved from 12 to number 4 while Nina Simone climbed to number seven with her Best Of album.
James Morrison's single, You Give Me Something, moved up one place to number five in the singles chart and the highest new entry was Borderline by Michael Gray featuring Shelly Poole, which entered the chart at number 12.
Christina Aguilera and Lily Allen were non-moveres in the singles chart this week, while Lily Allen's album, Alright Still dropped from number 4 to ten in the album chart.
