Spice Girls new single makes Headlines

The Spice Girls are set to releae a brand new single called Headlines, their first in seven years, with profits going to the BBC Children in Need charity fundraising appeal.

In other Spice news, two new dates have been announced for the UK leg of the tour. The London O2 Arena tickets go on sale on Saturday 6th October 2007. Buy Spice Girls TICKETS here

Geri, who left the band in 1998 ahead of their split, told GMTV the track would be a "big love song," while Mel C told Radio 1 that they didn't think they'd release a new single, but ventured into the studio and it all came together so well, they ended up recording two new tracks that will feature on their forthcoming Greatest Hits album.

"It's a Spice Girl classic. We are so proud of it," said Geri. "We started putting words down before we even had the finalised 'yes' from everyone."



The group have a huge world tour planned, with tickets selling out in 38 seconds on some dates, adn two new dates have been announced.

An album is set for release on November 12th, followed by the new Headlines single on 19th. The tour kicks off in Canada on 2 December,

Geri who will perform for the first time with her ex-band mates on this new world tour says how pleased the girls are to get a "second chance to be something that is so enjoyable."
