After three consecutive weeks atop Billboard's Modern Rock Chart with smash hit single, Believe, and a massively successful UK tour with Nickelback, multi-platinum rock quartet Staind have confirmed UK headline shows in January 2009. Joining them will be Seether, currently supporting the band in the USA.
Staind is touring in support of new album The Illusion Of Progress, which debuted on Billboard's Top 200 at No. 3, making it the fourth consecutive album of Staind's career to debut in the top 3. The Illusion Of Progress is Staind's sixth album and the follow-up to 2005's certified platinum Chapter V. The album was produced by Johnny K and recorded in frontman Aaron Lewis' home studio with guitarist Mike Mushok , drummer Jon Wysocki, and bassist Johnny April.
