Swanton Bombs Tour Dates May 2010
The restless trials and thrills of reckless youth encapsulated in Swanton Bombs' staggering album Mumbo Jumbo and Murder, released through Quiff Records (Turnstile) to critical plaudits all round, will without a doubt translate to a vital performance when the band takes centre stage in May 2010. The duo have had a dizzying start to the year (they also released the 7" vinyl single Viktoria which came with a download for their entire album etched into the groove), their raw, delirious brand of blues-punk proving to be the perfect antidote during the mellow first months of the year.
Hot on the heels of epic sold-out support slots with the likes of Girls and Los Campesinos!, the band bring their visceral, ramshackle blend of blues and punk centre stage as they embark on their own headline tour. Swanton Bombs' irrepressible energy and chemistry manifests in their extraordinary live shows and this tour should prove that 2010 really is their year.

Mutya Buena: ilikemusic because... It’s something I’ve grown up listening to, I enjoy singing I don’t think I know what I’d do without music to tell you the truth. It helps me out in so many ways.
