The Enemy Top UK Album Chart

The Enemy have gone straight to the top of the UK album charts with their debut album, We'll Live and Die In These Towns. The Coventry trio kept New Yorkers Interpol off the top spot, whose Love To Admire album entered the chart at number two.

Smashing Pumpkins saw their comeback album Zeitgeist take the number four slot, knocking Chemical Brothers down to number five.

Meanwhile, in the singles chart, Rihanna has retained her position at the top of the chart for a ninth week, with Umbrella featuring Jay-Z still at number one, keeping Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry at number two. Rihanna's nine week run equals the run of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy last year.

Kate Nash slipped a place to number three with her Foundations single, while Arctic Monkeys were the biggest climber of the week, as their Fluorescent Adolescent single rose to number five. Timbaland's The Way I Are went straight in at number four.

New entries also come from Kings Of Leon, Groove Armada featuring Mutya, Mika and Bloc Party. Other new entries in the album chart came from Cherry Ghost, Il Divo and Barbara Streisand.
