Madonna and Gorillaz performed together at the Grammy Awards, for the first time ever. The cartoon band, who were up for four awards and won one award (Best Pop Collaboration) opened the show with Madonna to show the world how it's done! Incredible stuff!
The Grammy Awards are famous for pairing unlikely stars from the music world at the annual music award ceremony in America. This year, Jay-Z and Linkin Park performed together, among many other great pairings (including U2 and Mary J Blige plus Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder).
U2 won five prizes at this year's Grammy Awards, scooping the most of the evening.
Their awards included album of the year for How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. It was also named best rock album, while City of Blinding Lights won best rock song.
Bono paid tribute to his late father, who was the inspiration for the album.
Mariah Carey, Kanye West and John Legend topped the nominations with eight each - but picked up three awards apiece.
Mariah's album The Emancipation of Mimi won the award for best contemporary R&B album. Her single We Belong Together was named best R&B song and best female R&B vocal performance.
