The Kooks bring their legion of fans to the Apple Store, Regent Street on Wednesday, April 9th for their iTunes Live from London gig. For the lucky few, there will be 50 tickets on the door on a first come, first served basis to hear one of the most exciting talents to have come out from the UK..
The Kooks will be performing their new single 'Always Where I Need To Be', the first single to be taken from their eagerly awaited new album 'Konk'.
'Konk' is the follow-up to their hugely successful 2006 debut 'Inside In/Inside Out', which sold over 2 million copies worldwide. The new single also caught the attention of music enthusiasts such as Jo Whiley, who chose 'Always Where I Need to Be' as her Single of the Week, which has also earned them an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show. The Kook's stunning new album is released on April 14th 2008.
iTunes Live from London has showcased some phenomenal headline acts in the past including REM, Keane and Stereophonics. The Kooks' acoustic set will continue this vein of fantastic live music, and is available for download from iTunes from Tuesday 15th April 2008.
