The Kooks Reschedule Tour Dates

The Kooks are saddened to announce that unfortunately, due to illness, they will have to reschedule five dates of their current tour: Brighton, 28-9; Southampton, 30-9; Norwich, 1-10; Newcastle, 2-10; and Leeds, 3-10.

This is due to Luke Pritchard, vocals/guitar, being struck down with tonsillitis and laryngitis. Yesterday evening's show in Brighton had to be cancelled and since then the doctor has told Luke to rest for six days.

The band is devastated to have to let down so many fans who were looking forward to these shows, but they want it to be known they will honour the commitment with shows being rescheduled within a day or so. All detailed on the bands website- www.thekooks.co.uk - and local and national press/radio.

The band said:

"We are truly upset to all of the fans who have been waiting since May to see these shows. We do apologise, but Luke is really quite poorly. We will be back very, very soon and look forward to seeing you all there.

Love, The Kooks."

Get well soon Luke!

The Kooks release their new single 'Ooh La' on Oct 23rd on Virgin Records.
