I can live vicariously through a song, whether it's a screaming angry rock anthem or a silly kids song ("I'm a little yellow fish" anyone?) haha!Industry party people and purveyors of insanely hip events, The Rage, have rolled out the talent once again for another round of The Rage Sessions, taking place at the exceptionally chilled, Big Chill House. The last 'The Rage Sessions' event showcased the uber slick talents of solo funkster, Joe Driscoll and Sunday Best's new boy, Christopher D Ashley.
Upping the ante this time round will be hotly tipped rapper/actor and all round dude, Riz MC and NME darling, Vijay Kishore. As always, The Rage have kept firmly to its ethos of giving us only the freshest and the coolest acts before they hit the stratosphere.
Rapper/actor and multi talented artist, Riz MC, is definitely the man of the moment. Many might recall his big screen debut in Michael Winterbottom's critically acclaimed, The Road to Guantanamo. Riz's politically charged, tongue in cheek single, Post 911 Blues, garnered the outspoken artist more mainstream column inches than any UK rapper around.
Already booked up for all the major festivals this Summer including Glastonbury, Big Chill and Camp Bestival, Riz has shared the stage with various luminaries like Dan Le Sac, Pigeon Detectives and Scouting For Girls. So here's you chance to catch the hardest working man in hip hop as he serves up his latest single, Radar, now riding high in the underground charts.
