The Rage Sessions , Big Chill House, London, Wed 14 May

Also on the same bill and hot on the heels of mainstream success is Birmingham's singer/songwriter, Vijay Kishore. His self produced debut EP, Done it Again, has brought the Brummie folk hero a legion of fans from Bobby Friction to Janice Long. Vijay has been steadily building a word of mouth buzz up and down the country, built around his outstanding live performances, which has seen him support artists such Ray Davies, Jamie T, Scott Matthews, Nizlopi, Blackbud and Newton Faulkner, winning plaudits and new friends wherever he goes.

The Rage Sessions are intimate events which create "an audience with" type atmosphere with established artists or emerging artists performing solo or acoustic based sets.

The ultimate post-work perk, access to The Rage Sessions is free for members of The Rage music community - a new online membership scheme which targets the older music loving market. The concept evolved as a result of the success of The Rage main parties which provide a unique all-inclusive gigging experience showcasing the likes of Young Knives, Newton Faulkner, Dirty Pretty Things, The Crimea and the Rumble Strips. The online membership community now has members as far a field as Japan and the USA. Benefits include advanced booking and discounted tickets to future Rage gigs, access to a members only section of the website offering downloads, interviews and news, a free The Rage annual compilation CD plus much more. In fact, after attending just two events with a guest, the £5 monthly membership fee pays for itself. It's easy to sign-up, and after a few quick clicks on the website you're all set.
