Mark Ronson has made The Rumble Strips his first major signing to his and Rich Kleimans own label, Allido Records, under their new deal with Universal Records worldwide.
In addition, the band are also delighted to confirm that Ronson will be heavily involved in their next record acting as producer and executive producer under their new deal. The new album schedule for Spring 2009, untitled at this point and will be the follow up to their acclaimed Girls and Weather debut released in 2007.
In Ronsons own words:
"I came across The Rumble Strips through their cover of Back to Black, and Amy and I agreed it was kind of better than our own. I picked up their album and fell in love with it. Then I decided I wanted to sign them to my label and work on their next album. It was really as straight forward as that. Were all very excited about this":
