Thom Yorke Takes Flying Lotus On Tour
On www.radiohead.com/deadairspace Thom Yorke posted that he will be taking his new band Atoms for Peace on tour in the US with LA's brightest star Flying Lotus supporting on the majority of dates.
"ok so in April the other band.. that i got together to do the eraser and other stuff u know .. Mauro, Flea, Me, Joey and Nigel is going back out to do some shows in the US.. ending with playing with Coachella. we had too much fun to just leave it there... these are the shows & Flying Lotus is opening for us"

Flying Lotus's new album Cosmogramma will be out on May 3rd 2010 and features Yorke as a guest vocalist. Self described as a ''space opera'' this exciting record touches on every genre cornerstone associated with his name, an authentic embodiment of his unique musical heritage. The spirit of his famed aunt, Alice Coltrane permeates the record, notably in the powerful collaborations with respected sax player and relative Ravi Coltrane, bass virtuoso Thundercat and the brilliant harp prodigy, Rebekah Raff. Also collaborating is string arranger Miguel Atwood-Ferguson (who has also worked with Erykah Badu & Outkast) and returning vocalist Laura Darlington.
