Umbrella went down to number three, while Kate Nash's Foundations stayed at number two. Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry single was at number four, followed by Enrique Iglesias at number five with Do You Know. New entries included The Manic Street Preachers' new single, Autumnsong, going straight in at number 10, Groove Armada's Song 4 Mutya at eight and Mika's Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) at number nine. Green Day's latest single, the theme to The Simpsons film, debuted at number 19.
Meanwhile, in the UK album chart, Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts retained his position at number one for a second week with One Chance, while Timbaland's album Shock Value was at number two. Garbage made an entrance into the UK album chart at number 11 with their greatest hits album, Absolute Garbage.
